Als eine meiner frühesten Kompositionen vertonte ich 1975 das Vater unser zur Primiz eines Freundes. Es beginnt absichtlich ökumenisch: Vater unser (Sopran/Bass) - Unser Vater (Alt/Tenor). Es ist sehr ruhig und meditativ, ein gesungenes Gebet.
Viktor Hug veröffentlichte diese kleine Motette in der Reihe canticum novum als Blatt 7 im Verlag Emil Ruh.
