Herbei, o ihr Gläubigen
Adeste fideles ist der Titel eines Weihnachtsliedes. Die deutsche Version ist als "Nun freut euch, ihr Christen" oder auch als "Herbei, o ihr Gläub'gen", die englische als "O Come All Ye Faithful" bekannt. Es wurde um 1743 von John Francis Wade (1711–1786) komponiert. Das erste Manuskript enthielt sowohl die Melodie als auch den lateinischen Text und wurde 1760 in den Evening Offices of the Church veröffentlicht.
